MEET MAX SOLOMON

WHERE I COME FROM

Max Solomon, born McStephen Olusegun Adewale Solomon to Nigerian parents, comes from a very humble and poignant background. His mother was killed by a drunk driver in a car accident when Max was just 14 years old, and his father died a few years later when Max was 17 years old. Orphaned, and being the first son of his parents with many other siblings, Max had to take up and bear daunting family responsibilities and obligations at a very young age.

Max is very disciplined, humble, focused, determined, unrelenting, and passionate, and he credits these attributes to his very strong Christian faith, beliefs, and values which he says were instilled in him by his parents during their unfortunately short presence in his life.  "Train up a child in the way he should go ... " Proverbs 22:6.

A THRIVING CAREER

Max has been blessed with extensive academic success.  He earned an Associates Degree in Political Science from South Suburban College of Cook County, where he was nominated and won the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship, becoming a Jack Kent Cooke Scholar.

He went on to DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, with minors in Religious Studies; and Peace, Conflict Resolution and Social Justice.  Max went on to Valparaiso University School of Law and Valparaiso University in Indiana where he earned a J.D. Degree in law, and a Masters Degree in Theology respectively.  "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom ..." Proverbs 9:10.

Max is an attorney in private practice licensed in the States of Illinois and Indiana. He is a former (distinguished) Adjunct Professor of Political Science at South Suburban College, Cook County, Illinois.  He is an actor/performer who has been a member of SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) since 1999. Max is a health and fitness enthusiast, a former power-lifter and a 4-time USPF national champion, and a personal fitness trainer.

Max is also a flight enthusiast who enjoys flying and takes flight lessons towards his goal of getting his private pilot license.  An avid chess player, Max is also an ordained Christian Minister.

"I can do all things ..." Phil. 4:13.
